Tale of The Artist Who Photographs Beauties in Gowns Against Idyllic Backgrounds
Cappadocia, Turkey, Finolhu, Maldives, Poppies Field, Crimea, Louvre, Paris, France are few of the many scenic places where artist Kristina Makeeva has travelled to juxtapose elegant fashion against phenomenal architecture for her photographic compositions.
Inspirational Illustrations on Notebooks & Stationary Pay Homage to the Magic of Nature by Katie Daisy
Oregon-based illustrator Katie Daisy admits to being raised by “birds and warm breezes” in a small town, “where she was brought up among the other wildflowers with roots planted deeply in the natural world.” Deeply impassioned by nature, Daisy’s aim is to interpret the beauty of Mother Earth she has engraved deeply in her velvet bones.
She hopes to convey the message of our surroundings through her adventurous and vibrant illustrations. Composed by watercolor, acrylic, photoshop, the watercolor creations contain messages of inspiration, love of beauty, poetry and nature expressed by the most influential minds in literature, art and humanity.
Adorned with floral patterns, constellations, landscape sceneries, and plants, Daisy’s work is a wildly romantic series, which urges everyone to dream. The small literary excerpts communicate the simple joys of life and the magic found in nature. You can find her entire collection in her Etsy shop.

MYTHOLOGY EDITS | vampires
a vampire is a being from folklore who subsists by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of the living. in european folklore, vampires were undead beings that often visited loved ones and caused mischief or deaths in the neighbourhoods they inhabited when they were alive. vampires wore shrouds and were usually reported as bloated in appearance, and ruddy, purplish, or of dark countenance; these characteristics were often attributed to the recent drinking of blood. indeed, blood was often seen seeping from the mouth and nose when one was seen in its shroud or coffin and its left eye was often open.
Women have a certain sexuality, and I think their bodies are beautiful, and I’m not embarrassed to explore that in a film. But there are things you get offered that are vulgar and violent - just like there’s a side of me that’s vulgar and violent.
